REESHAPE 120MG contain orlistat which belongs to a group of medicine called lipase inhibitors. It is used to treat obesity in conjunction with a low-calorie intake diet. Obesity is a disorder involving excessive body fat that increase the risk of health problem. It works in your digestive system to block about one-third of the fat in the food you eat from being digested. It attaches to the enzymes in your digestive system (lipases) and blocks them from breaking down some of the fat you have eaten during your meal. The undigested fat cannot be absorbed and is eliminated by your body.
Always take REESHAPE 120MG exactly as your doctor has told you. It can be taken immediately before, during a meal or up to one hour after a meal. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney disease, heart disease or liver problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult the doctor before taking this medicine. It has no known effect on your ability to drive a car or operate machinery. This medicine is strictly not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years. The most common side effects are headache, abdominal pain, flatulence (wind) with or without discharge, oily discharge, oily or fatty stools.

HOW REESHAPE 120MG WORKS
REESHAPE 120MG blocks about one-third of the fat in the food you eat from being digested. It attaches to the enzymes in your digestive system (lipases) and blocks them from breaking down some of the fat you have eaten during your meal. The undigested fat cannot be absorbed and is eliminated by your body.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Always take REESHAPE 120MG exactly as your doctor has told you. It can be taken immediately before, during a meal or up to one hour after a meal. It should be taken with a well-balanced, calorie-controlled diet that is rich in fruit and vegetables and contains an average of 30% of the calories from fat.
Your daily intake of fat, carbohydrate and protein should be distributed over three meal. This mean you will usually take one capsule at breakfast time, one capsule at lunch time and one capsule at dinner time. You should avoid the intake of food containing fat between meals such as biscuits, chocolate, and savoury snacks.

HOW TO MANAGE SIDE EFFECTS
Headache:
Apply hot or cold-water bag on your head. Take rest in a quiet and dark room. Drink tea or coffee.
Abdominal pain:
Try to rest and relax. Eat and drink slowly and smaller and frequent meals. Applying a heat pad or covered hot water bottle on your stomach may also help. If still pain persists, speak to your doctor.
Bloating or wind:
Eat smaller and frequent meals. Eat and drink slowly, and exercise regularly. If the symptom gets worse, contact your doctor straight away.

DRIVING AND USING MACHINES
REESHAPE 120MG has no known effect on your ability to drive a car or operate machinery.
ALCOHOL
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with REESHAPE 120MG.
KIDNEY
REESHAPE 120MG should be used with caution in patients suffering from active kidney diseases. Consult your doctor for advice.
LIVER
REESHAPE 120MG is not recommended in patients with active liver diseases(cholestasis). Consult your doctor for advice.
ALLERGY
Do not take REESHAPE 120MG if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to orlistat or any other ingredients in this medicine. Consult your doctor for advice.
OTHERS
Tell your doctor if you have or had a condition such as,
- Have chronic malabsorption syndrome (insufficient absorption of nutrients from alimentary tract)
- Severe diarrhoea
- High cholesterol or diabetes
INTERACTIONS
Talk to your doctor if you are taking,
- Anticoagulant such as warfarin (used for thin blood)
- Ciclosporin
- Iodine salts and levothyroxine (used to treat thyroid gland problems)
- Amiodarone (used to treat irregular heartbeat)
- Medicines to treat HIV
- Medicines for depression, psychiatric disorders, or anxiousness
- Beta-carotene and vitamin E
- Anticonvulsants medicines (used to treat convulsion)
